Congratulations New Horizons

What an achievement for the New Horizons mission team to pass close to Ultima Thule and take the picture below - known as ‘The Snowman’ at 6.5 billion km away.

The full data set will take nearly 2 years to reach Earth! We are going to learn so much about the early times of our Solar System from the research from the Kuiper Belt object - clearly two objects that have joined together.
